DIY Bachelorette Party Invitations in 8 Easy Steps
When my sister asked me to be the Matron of Honor for her wedding, I was super excited! One of the major tasks of MOH and Bridesmaids is to plan the bride’s Bachelorette Party. I decided to go all out and do a Damask theme – Black and Fuchsia DIY invitations for her Girls Night Out. In this blog post I will teach how to make your own DIY Invitations for a Bachelorette Party.

Supplies:
1. Paper Cutter
3. Fuchsia A6 Note cards
4. Black A7 Note Cards
5. Fuchsia Envelopes
6. Clear Adhesive Crystals
8. Ink Jet Printer
9. Microsoft Word
10. Computer
Easy to follow Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Write the invitation copy. The poem I chose for this DIY Bachelorette Invitation is as follows:
It’s time for the girls to
mix, giggle & mingle
These are [BRIDE’s NAME]’s last days
of being single!

her final “I Do”

2. Set up the document on Microsoft Word for an A6 size paper (Fuchsia). Copy and paste your content for the invitation. Format the text with your choice of font and alignment.
3. Print a test invitation on scrap paper of A6 size.
4. Once you are happy with the alignment of the text on the paper, print as many copies you need by HAND FEEDING the paper to the printer one by one.
5. Leaving an inch at the bottom of the A6 (Fuchsia) flat card, wrap around with your favorite decorative tape (we used damask print).
6. Cut 1/4″ off the bottom Black A7 flat cards with the help of a paper trimmer. DO NOT use Scissors, as the edges would not be clean or straight.
7. Mount the printed A6 cards on the trimmed A7 flat cards, using double stick tape.
8. Decorate the invitation with clear adhesive crystals.
You may wish to create envelope liners for your fuschia envelopes and that is totally your choice. If you want you can use calligraphy to write the addresses on the envelopes.
