Marigold Events is very excited about the glittering line up of Indian designer labels at Exclusively.In’s Upcoming Bridal Show. The designers will be offering a range of items from their latest wedding collections for a South Asian bride-to-be as well as wedding guests. Here is a guide for you lovely ladies explaining more about the individual style of designers and featuring some of their work.
Indian Bridal Wear
Payal Singhal: Known for her feminine style and fine detailing, Payal creates ultra-chic, eclectic ensembles of embellished crisp crepes and sparkly tulles. Her collection features muted / pastel colors with a touch of shimmer.
Shyamal and Bhumika: Shyamal and Bhumika use contrasting colors like black velvets with brightly colored brocades, deep green with bright purple, mustard with scarlet, dull beige with dusky peach, icy grey with midnight blue. In their work, they use motifs like Arabesque Konias, paisleys, crescents, beautiful floral wines and jaals.
Ritu Kumar: Ritu Kumar infuses contemporary flair with ancient Indian embroideries and dyeing techniques such as zardozi, bandhani and chikan to create spectacular outfits. These outfits are crafted in naturally rich fabrics like silk, georgette, crepe, tissue/organza.
Aneesh Agarwaal: Aneesh Agarwaal is inspired by the sheer beauty of brocades and intricate embellishments. He is often applauded for his use of traditional Indian fabrics in a modern way. Intricate techniques of hand embroidery rule his designs.
Frontier Sarees: Frontier Sarees has an impressive collection of Indian wear. Their style encompasses the glamorous and richly embroidered aesthetic of Indian fashion.
Satya Paul: Satya Paul’s designs bring together color, shapes and elements from nature into singular designs. The vivid use of color together with signature stripes, florals and calligraphy unite the latest in graphic design with India’s ancient weaving traditions.
