Wedding on Wall Street: Deepa + Anuj

Get ready to be wowed, coz we have something special in store for you! Our lovely feature for today is Deepa and Anuj’s wedding memories, captured beautifully by Memories in Motion.  Set against the backdrop of various landmarks in New York, the couple’s gorgeous wedding was pumped up with energy and liveliness. The wedding highlights feature their engagement session, sangeet, ceremony, and reception.

Deepa and Anuj’s New York engagement shoot started with a romantic walk in the historic Central Park, and a dreamy horse carriage ride around the city. Deepa changed into a churidar suit later that  night, culminating the engagement shoot by the dazzling lights of Times Square.

The couple’s sangeet was at the Battery Park with an amazing view of the Statue of Liberty. The venue was lit up with Chinese lanterns hanging on trees. Anuj wore an entricately embroidered sherwani, and Deepa looked super cute in a baby pink and pistachio green lehnga. Their sangeet was a prelude to what was to follow.

Deepa and Anuj’s wedding day started with the chooda and kaleera ceremonies at Andaz. Our beautiful bride wore a red and green lehenga, and accessorized it with dazzling jewelry. The wedding festivities started with a super fun Baraat that blocked Wall Street for a while. I love how enthusiastic the families look, especially during Baraat and Milnis. The venue was beautifully decorated with gorgeous florals, and a unique mandap. Both Deepa and Anuj were playful during their Jaimala, making the ceremony super fun.

The non stop fun of Deepa and Anuj’s wedding continued with their reception, which was full of action and excitement. Deepa changed into a beautiful gown-like wedding lehnga, and Anuj looked handsome in a tux. The couple got the crowd pumped up with energy with their grand entrance. The DJs were spinning some amazing music, and had the guests dancing until the wee hours.
