Solidarity, Support, and Sentiments

We at Marigold Events want to take a moment to acknowledge the tragedy that happened last weekend.  I am sure that many of you will share my sentiment, in expressing our shock and dismay over the shooting at the Sikh Gurdawara.

America as a nation is a melting pot and a country of immigrants. This tragedy comes as a shock as a single ethnic group was targeted. The Sikh Community immigrated to the United States 130 years ago and is as much a part of the American family, as any other community.

It is in the difficult times like this that we hope that all Americans will come together to show their support towards the victims and their families. We were present at the local vigils in Washington DC metro area, and were amazed at how many American people came to show their solidarity.
