Traditional Mehndi with a Modern Twist
Full of gorgeous colors, art, and celebration: mehndi or henna is an integral part of Indian Weddings. Today we are featuring a styled shoot of traditional mehndi with a modern twist, by Natalia Reardon Photography. This stunning mehndi inspired styled shoot came together with collaboration of talented vendors in Vancouver area.
This mehndi photo shoot is a great example of tradition marrying modern. While the reds and golds are traditional Indian, the turquoise accents to the stationary, jewelry, and table settings, add a lovely modern touch. Also the outfit looks traditional, but the make up and glitter on the henna is modern, and the mehndi arm band is super stylish! The decor has Moroccan touches, and the henna inspired cake and heart shaped cookies are absolutely adorable. Hope you enjoy the lovely inspirations in this beautiful mehndi shoot.
