Arun and Kreso’s Wedding Ceremony and Reception
The following pictures is the concluding post in the series telling the story of Arun and Kreso. The pictures in this post are from their wedding ceremony and reception. The pictures have been taken by Shuva Rahim of Accent Photographics.
Arun and Kreso had a small wedding in Danforth Chapel on the University of Iowa campus. Their families flew long distances, from India and Croatia, for the wedding. Their ceremony began with the beautiful guitar music of Dana Starkell as the proud papa walked his daughter down the aisle.
Arun and Kreso’s wedding had a lot of personal touches to it. Their ceremony included two components that were unique. First the respective fathers gave very heartfelt speeches. Second, the groomsmen translated the entire service in Croatian as Rev. Tom Capo conducted the ceremony.
The reception was at Chef’s Table in downtown Iowa City, which is a small restaurant with incredible cuisine.
Their “theme” if you will was a bicycle built for two. The logo was on their invitation and they carried it out on their place settings and centerpieces.
Congrats to Arun and Kreso! Wish you a life full of love and happiness!
